Culture

Lisboa is a city with more than 1.000 years and a marvelous historical background.

You can easily walk from the Hotel to the oldest part of Lisboa and visit the Castle, the old downtown, Chiado, and Bairro Alto, and all the magic of the surrounding quarters, with a huge variety of old churches and museums to visit.

Lisboa is proud of its river, the Tagus, and Belém riverside area has monuments and views that you should not miss.

Just a small walking distance from the Hotel, we can find Lisboa’s main Cultural Center and visit the marvelous garden, attend classic music concerts, visit temporary exhibitions or even the permanent collection.

Food

Lisboa has a wide range of food from all over the World and the Hotel area is particularly rich.

Around the Hotel is possible to eat until 03:00 AM and you may find Lisboa’s best and most famous pastry shops, modern places where you can have a light meal or even a brunch, and a huge number of international restaurants.

But the pride of Lisboa is the Portuguese food and there are plenty of Portuguese restaurants in the surroundings.

Outside Lisboa

The offer around Lisboa is huge.

Enable your self and relax at the beaches of Cascais Coast or Costa da Caparica, where you can combine the city life with the Portuguese Sun and white sandy beaches.

The cultural life in Sintra is amazing and the neighbouring Cascais is nice for a walk, and has strong offer for lunch or dinner.

If you want to challenge yourself with distances, you should visit Óbidos (90Km) and its labyrinth of streets towards the castle or the city of Évora (world Heritage) – 140 Km

Hotel White Lisboa is located ate the heart of Lisboa and the shops windows displays are part of its decoration.

You can also find street markets every week.

There are a few malls around the Hotel, including one of Lisboa’s main malls at s short walking distance.
